Meet the Directors

Dr. Zuill Bailey
Dr. Zuill Bailey, retired Prince William County educator, received the Bachelor of Science Degree from East Carolina University and the Master of Music Education and Doctor of Music Education degrees from the University of Illinois.
Following eleven years as Director of Bands at Woodbridge Senior High School, Dr. Bailey served as Supervisor of Music, Principal of Gar-Field Senior High School, Director of Curriculum Services, and Director of Information Services for Prince William County Schools. Previous conductor of the Youth Orchestras of Prince William Wind Symphony, Dr. Bailey now serves as an adjudicator throughout Northern Virginia and works with bands upon request.
Dr. Bailey currently serves as treasurer of the Woodbridge Music Club and co-treasurer of the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Music Clubs.
Dr. Bailey has taught the Woodbridge Homeschool Band with his colleagues for more than 20 years.

Ariel Williams
Ariel Williams is a saxophonist, educator, and arts administrator based in the Northern Virginia area. As an alumnus of the Woodbridge Homeschool Band, Ms. Williams is dedicated to continuing to provide access to quality music education and concert band experiences for the Woodbridge homeschooling community.

Ms. Williams earned a Master’s of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where she also served as the graduate teaching assistant for the saxophone area, and a Bachelor’s of Music Education from George Mason University. In addition to co-directing the Woodbridge Homeschool Band, Ms. Williams currently serves as Assistant Coordinator of Programs and Saxophone Instructor at Mason Community Arts Academy at George Mason University.
