Ariel Williams is a saxophonist, educator, and arts administrator based in the Northern Virginia area. As an alumnus of the Woodbridge Homeschool Band, Ms. Williams is dedicated to continuing to provide access to quality music education and concert band experiences for the Woodbridge homeschooling community.

An experienced music educator, Ms. Williams has been teaching music for over a decade. She has been co-directing the Woodbridge Homeschool Band since 2023 and took primary leadership of the organization in 2025. Ms. Williams has taught saxophone, chamber music, and music history at the collegiate and K-12 levels. 

Ms. Williams earned a Master’s of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where she also served as the graduate teaching assistant for the saxophone area, and a Bachelor’s of Music Education from George Mason University.

 

Ms. Williams also serves as Coordinator of Programs and Operations at Mason Community Arts Academy at George Mason University. In addition to her administrative duties, she teaches saxophone and runs music group classes at the Academy.
